TAB Meeting

The next TAB meeting will be held Thursday, April 28th (7:00 PM) at the Beaumont library. We will continue our planning of the poetry slam on May 5th. Be there!

"Dear TAB members,
As some of you might have wondered, yes, there was a TAB meeting on April 7 and, yes, I forgot to send out a reminder about it. So only two people showed up. I have finally gotten past the conference that has taken up so much of my time this month, so the rest of our season should go much more smoothly.
We will have a make-up meeting on Thursday, April 28 at 7 pm. Here's what we will discuss:
1. The Poetry Slam: Brian told me that there was some discussion about changing the date. Unfortunately, since I have to turn in publicity two months in advance, I had to set the date months ago. It has been publicized as May 5 in the library calendar and in the papers, so it cannot be changed. My apologies to anyone who can't attend because of testing. However, I have a proposition to help resolve this scheduling issue (See #2). We will finalize our Poetry Slam plans at the April 28 meeting.
2. Future TAB projects: In order to resolve scheduling problems, I propose that we come up with a tentative schedule for TAB projects and programs next year. We could come up with possible dates, and then have time to change them if need be. Everyone start thinking of what you would like TAB to do next year. What kind of teen programs would you like to see? Are there any projects (community service or otherwise) that TAB should be working on?
3. Are there any other changes that you would like to see to TAB? How have the officer positions been working out? What about the newsletter?
4. Shopping trip. I remember there had been some schedule conflicts when we talked about this last. What if we used our last meeting date (May 12) for this?

And, FYI, the last TAB meeting will be held on May 12. There will be no meetings after that until August.
